What a nice surprise when I logged into my account tonight as saw this…
FREE Bonus Reward?!? It looks like I can redeem $0 worth of e-Rewards currency for 250 Alaska Mileage Plan miles. That’s right they’re FREE. Talk about a no-brainer, but first I have a confession to make. I was actually in the middle of cashing out $75 of my e-Rewards for a $25 Starbucks gift card (not miles) when I discovered this. I figured since that same amount would only be worth 1500 Alaska miles, which I could essentially go buy with 3 Vanilla Reloads for $11.85, getting a $25 Starbucks card was the better deal. Now, thanks to this GREAT offer I can have my coffee and some miles too! Unfortunately, this seems to be a one-time offer, and after I redeemed for my 250 miles, the option disappeared off the menu. Hey, I’ll take what I can get!
For those who are unfamiliar with the program, I’ve posted about e-Rewards here before as part of a Free Miles and Points series I did late last year. Basically, it is a survey site that rewards you with miles, points, and gift cards. If you are interested in joining you can also earn 250 miles with American, United, and Alaska or 350 points with Southwest and JetBlue just for signing up using the following links:
- United – 250 Mileage Plus Miles
- American – 250 AAdvantage miles
- Alaska – 250 Mileage Plan miles
- Jet Blue – 350 TrueBlue points
- Southwest – 350 Rapid Rewards points
Access to all other program sponsors are typically by invitation only. e-Rewards has been Mai Tais tested and multiple email addresses are good for multiple accounts. I currently have 7 through various airlines and hotels, and you can bet I will be checking all of them to see what other free offers are floating around!
Did anyone else get this offer?
